How to Request Deletion
If you wish to delete your Nyumbani account and personal information, please follow these steps:

Send an email to admin@nyumbanitech.co.ke. -
Include Required Details
In your message, please include:-
Your full account name

Your registered phone number

Any other identifiers that can help us verify your account

State Your Request Clearly
Include “Request for Data Deletion” in the subject line or body of your email. -
Verification Process
For security reasons, we may contact you to verify your identity before processing the deletion request. -
Processing Time
Once verified, we will process your request within a reasonable timeframe and confirm via email once your account and personal data have been deleted, subject to any retention requirements under law. -
Exceptions
Certain information may be retained where required by law, for regulatory compliance, accounting, dispute resolution, or fraud prevention. -
Effect of Deletion
Deleting your account will remove your access to Nyumbani services. Any associated tenant or organizational data that you manage may also be affected according to applicable service agreements

Once we receive your data deletion request:

We will verify your identity to ensure the request is legitimate and protect your account from unauthorized deletion. -
Deletion Timeline
Your account and associated personal data will be deleted within 14 business days of verification. -
Retention of Certain Records
Some financial, regulatory, or legal records may be retained as required by law, for auditing, accounting, or dispute resolution purposes. -
Confirmation
After deletion is complete, we will send you a confirmation email indicating that your personal data has been removed, except for any information that we are legally required to retain.
